The energy sector is rapidly transforming against a backdrop of growing demand, regulatory changes, ambitious carbon reduction targets, and new innovations in technology. We are open to speaking with Commercial/Cost Managers to explore future opportunities aligned with our growth strategy. These roles involve working on a variety of projects with clients such as National Grid across the country.
As a Cost Manager within our energy division, you will work with various clients focusing on areas such as asset improvements within an ASTI (Accelerated Strategic Transmission Infrastructure) portfolio. As part of the Advisory Services team, you will uphold rigorous professional standards, facilitate efficient project execution, and ensure compliance with industry and company information standards and protocols.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing a collaborative commercial model
- Ensuring best practice cost management
- Developing & implementing cost processes and systems across the PMO
- Analyzing financial, commercial, risk, and performance data
- Performing assurance at portfolio, programme, or project levels
About You: You will be an experienced Commercial/Cost Management Professional, ideally with RICS Chartership or working towards it, along with a Project and Programme qualification such as APM or MSP. Previous experience within a Programme / Capital Delivery Environment is essential. You will have experience in engineering and infrastructure delivery in the regulated sectors of energy or water, with detailed working knowledge of Planning, Reporting, and Cost Management Systems. You should be able to manage workload and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project delivery environment.
