Are you a Civil or Utilities Engineer looking to develop your career in the infrastructure sector? We are seeking an ambitious engineer to join our growing Infrastructure team in Cambridge or London, working on a diverse portfolio of land development projects focused on utilities, highways design and active travel. You will gain experience across a range of projects, including strategic residential developments, town and city centre regeneration schemes, and commercial developments while receiving support towards professional accreditation and chartership.
As part of our Infrastructure team, you will support the design, coordination and delivery of development projects from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing plans and drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supporting fee proposals and project bids.
- Undertaking QA checks to ensure high‑quality design delivery.
- Supporting feasibility studies, masterplanning and environmental assessments.
- Liaising with utility providers, Local Authorities, clients and project stakeholders.
- Attending site visits as required.
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to team growth.
You will help deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions that support residential, regeneration and commercial developments, creating positive outcomes for clients, communities and the environment.
You will have experience within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector and be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
We're Also Looking For- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and guidance.
- An understanding of Designer responsibilities under CDM 2015.
- Experience with Civil 3D, SuDS design or site-based engineering would be beneficial but is not essential.
