The Cambridge office is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Technician to join our established Civils team. Stantec is a leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure consultancy with a strong pipeline of projects across the Cambridge and Eastern region.

You’ll work on a wide range of high-profile developments, including residential and mixed-use schemes, commercial and industrial projects, highway improvements, and city-centre regeneration. The role offers involvement from concept through to construction, providing technical CAD and 3D design support across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in project delivery, producing and coordinating 2D and 3D drawings, Civils 3D modelling, and supporting highway, drainage, earthworks, and pavement design. You’ll also take on a CAD leadership role, contributing to technical audits, design checking, and quality reviews, and liaising with engineers, project managers, contractors, and plant teams. Knowledge of Navisworks is advantageous.

About You

You’ll be an experienced Technician with strong CAD and drafting skills, ideally with Civils 3D and highway design experience, and a background in land development or infrastructure projects.
