We are currently seeking an experienced EIA Coordinator from a Senior level through to Senior Associate to join our team permanently. With offices across the UK, we can offer you a mix of home and office working which will help maintain a good work‑life balance and effective team working. Our broad‑based growth means we are supporting projects across multiple sectors, including major energy and infrastructure schemes. We are working on several exciting and innovative energy projects including carbon capture and storage, renewable energy of all types and scales, hydrogen and transmission & distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Manage EIA screening and scoping processes, prepare environmental statements, review technical input and produce environmental and planning‑related reports.
  • Lead environmental teams, oversee Environmental Impact Assessments and prepare reports.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop client relationships and support the development of junior team members.
  • Contribute to proposals and financial management of projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong environmental planning experience (EIA), preferably with experience working in (or interest in) the energy sector, and be either chartered or working towards chartership.
  • Broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, working knowledge of consenting regimes and development management procedures (Town and Country Planning & Planning Act, Hybrid Bill etc).
  • DCO experience is not essential but would be considered favourably.
  • Experience in leading multi‑disciplinary teams, a track record of financial management of projects and excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and mentor those around you is an important asset.
  • Ideally, demonstrate competency and flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
