About The Business

Stantec’s Flood and Coastal team is a small but growing group of engineers working at the forefront of the industry. We deliver innovative, sustainable solutions across all flood defence infrastructure projects, from sluice gates and gravity-driven solutions to refurbishment and replacement pump station projects that adhere to the Eel Regulations 2009.

The Opportunity

You will lead the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services on multi‑disciplinary pumping station and water control projects. You will oversee the production of high‑quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules. You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.

About You

You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for your clients and will have the following:

  • Proven experience across water and/or flood defence sectors, with a track record of delivering electrical solutions.
  • Supported, developed or mentored junior colleagues.
  • Experienced with BIM processes and tools including Revit & electrical modelling software (e.g., Trimble).
  • A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in Electrical Engineering. Recently obtained chartered status.
