We are looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer for our Infrastructure team to be based in the Ashford office, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme.
As a Stantec graduate, from the beginning of your career you will be developing design solutions to support the development of new communities. You will also collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your civil engineering expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment. Your work will be diverse, encompassing anything from designing a new junction on the national strategic road network to designing sustainable drainage systems for a 5,000 home residential development.
Your duties could include:
- Finding the optimum and sustainable design solution for residential infrastructure including drainage and highways.
- Varied design works for residential and commercial schemes using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other industry software.
- Supporting on engineering activities from feasibility all the way through to construction, including the production of detailed calculations, analysis and inspections.
- Assessment risk on projects and undertaking of risk management to mitigate them.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, bids and proposals.
- Providing technical guidance on civil engineering matters to the wider project team.
- Attending meetings and workshops with clients and members of other disciplines.
You will benefit from the structured graduate training scheme and be assigned a Delegated Engineer and Supervising Civil Engineer to support you in your route to Chartership.
