You will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, contributing to significant developments across the region and beyond. You will collaborate closely with our building, environmental, and transport colleagues to deliver holistic solutions. As an Assistant Civil Engineer, you will join a close-knit team where you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor our junior engineers and technicians, take responsibility for leading the technical delivery and approval of projects, and review the work produced by our team. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality design projects on time and within budget, and work closely with our clients to influence the development of infrastructure schemes in the region. As we continue to grow, you will find ample opportunities to progress and develop your own career within Stantec.
You will be an MEng/BEng qualified and Chartered Engineer. You are a tactical thinker focused on achieving coordinated solutions and effective at communicating with both internal and external parties (e.g., utility companies, drainage authorities, highway authorities). Ideally, you will have expertise in highway and drainage infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary projects across their entire lifecycle – from concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery. You will have a proven record of delivering projects closely with clients across various technical disciplines and experience mentoring and managing the workload of junior team members. Skills with Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, and utility coordination are advantageous. Crucially, you will bring a passion and experience for delivering quality infrastructure design solutions and managing processes with regulators and local authorities.
