The role: We are looking for a Finance Graduate to be based in our Reading office, joining our 2027 Graduate Programme (Autumn 2027 start). As a Finance Graduate, you will form part of a dynamic and sociable regional team. The 3-year Finance graduate programme offers a unique blend of rotational experience and specialisation to build your experience to gain the ACCA or CIMA qualification. During the initial two years, you will gain exposure to diverse areas within finance, including Financial Accounting, Commercial Finance, Project Accounting, Tax, Accounts Payable and Credit Control. In the final year, you'll specialise in one of the rotational areas tailored to your interests and our business needs. Please note, that some rotations will require travel between the Reading and Warrington offices. This travel will be reimbursed and is essential to provide you with hands-on learning opportunities and direct interaction with team members.
About you: At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with your Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, we’d love to receive your application if you are:
- A Collaborator: You’ll love to work effectively with lots of different people at different levels, all inputting their part towards a shared goal.
- A Planner: Organising and managing your own activities, dealing effectively with multiple priorities with a structured approach.
- An Adapter: Able to remain calm in new situations, comfortably switching between a variety of dynamic and exciting tasks.
- A Multi-Tasker: Thinking about more than one task at a time, while still having an eye for detail.
- A Problem-Solver: You’ll love to give your thoughts based on what you see, being unafraid to challenge conventional thinking.
- A Striver: Exhibiting ownership, consistently delivering on tasks and objectives. You’ll be motivated and proactive in your tasks, having the desire to make a real difference.
Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensure that colleagues are able to provide the appropriate level of support.
Applicants must have an unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period without limitation.
What we can offer you: A competitive salary, private medical insurance, a range of benefits, including holiday buy and sell, group income protection and life assurance, permanent employment contract to demonstrate our commitment to your long-term career at Stantec, professional progression plan, supporting you to gain professional chartership, including funding, a supportive and collaborative team environment and Early Careers peer group and wider ERG network.
