Stantec is looking for a Transport Planner to join our growing Transport Planning team in our London office. As we continue to expand our presence across Greater London, you'll support a diverse portfolio of developer, local authority and infrastructure clients, helping to deliver projects that shape communities across the UK. Based in our Tottenham Street office, you'll work on a wide range of schemes including residential-led developments, commercial and industrial projects, public sector studies, and major infrastructure and energy projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll support the delivery of high-quality transport planning solutions across a variety of projects. You will:

  • Prepare Transport Assessments, Environmental Statements, Construction Traffic Management Plans, Travel Plans and other transport planning documents.
  • Undertake transport studies, technical analysis and support junction modelling work.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities and project teams.
  • Support project delivery, financial management and programme coordination.
  • Contribute to business development activities where appropriate.

You'll play an important role in delivering transport planning solutions that support sustainable development and major infrastructure projects across London and the UK. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll help deliver innovative solutions while continuing to develop your technical and professional skills.

ABOUT YOU

You'll have:

  • A degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A good understanding of the UK planning system, ideally within the London development environment.
  • Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and other transport planning documents.
  • Experience with transport analysis, junction modelling and relevant software.
  • Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
  • A professional qualification (or working towards one), such as TPP, is desirable.
