You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is particularly well suited to individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to delivering excellent client service.
The position can be based at our offices in London or High Wycombe. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of water sector projects, ensuring they align with client expectations and adhere to Stantec's Project Management Framework. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
A key part of your responsibilities will include identifying and mitigating risks early, addressing issues proactively to keep projects on track. You will also manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure both financial and operational targets are met. Regular reporting will be required, and you will prepare and present updates and documentation to a range of internal and external audiences. Supporting the development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring is also an important aspect of the role, contributing to the growth and strength of our wider Project Management community.
Throughout all project activities, you will be expected to uphold and promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

A professional certification, such as PMP or APM, would be advantageous. Experience working with NEC contracts and delivering projects using a risk-based approach is also beneficial. Ideally, you will have experience in the water sector and a background in delivering detailed engineering services, either in collaboration with contractors or through managing complex infrastructure projects.
