About The Role

As a graduate engineer, you will balance technical learning with practical project delivery to support key geotechnical and infrastructure projects across the UK. You will sit within a growing national team of dedicated specialists, gaining exposure to a wide range of geotechnical skills from site investigation and ground characterisation through to technical design. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of detailed specifications for ground investigations.

The applicable professional qualifications for this role are Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Chartered Geologist (CGeol) status with the Geological Society of London (GSL).

Your Impact

In this role, you will help lay the groundwork for essential UK energy and infrastructure developments. Supporting projects across Transmission & Distribution as well as Water & Gas, your contribution to ground characterisation, site investigations, and foundational design will directly ensure structural safety and resilience. Working alongside experienced engineers and geologists, your day-to-day efforts will translate complex subsurface data into deliverable engineering solutions, leaving a positive and lasting legacy for the communities we serve.

  • A Problem-Solver - You possess strong analytical skills, love to give your thoughts based on what you see and are unafraid to challenge conventional thinking.

Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensure that you receive sufficient time with your team and receive the appropriate level of support. Applicants must have an unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period without limitation.
