We\'re looking for a Graduate Renewable Energy Consultant, to join our Renewable Energy Team based in Bristol, Edinburgh, London or Truro , joining our 2026 Graduate Programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your career in Renewable Energy by gaining valuable experience within an established consultancy, where you\'ll be working with local authorities, universities, master planners and developers to help identify, design, develop and deliver renewable energy assets at all scales. The team advises clients on all types of Renewable energy technologies including Wind, Solar, Battery Storage, Hydropower, Microgrids, Hydrogen and EV Charging. Our projects range from large scale utility connected developments to smaller distributed energy assets across masterplans or mixed-use developments.
As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your civil engineering expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment.
Your role:
- Supporting Stantec\'s renewable energy development clients
- Working on renewable energy generation and storage projects throughout the entire project lifecycle including feasibility, grid connection, planning, design, procurement, and construction.
- Contributing to the delivery of key projects, with support from senior team members.
- Reviewing project details and developing appropriate technical, economic and environmental solutions.
- Reviewing documentation provided by project teams, assess this against the project\'s targets and provide feedback or follow-up.
- Preparation of reports providing advice and guidance to clients and project teams, or in support of planning applications with support from senior team members.
- Liaising with utility and distribution network operators to develop generation and storage projects.
- Developing commercial awareness by assisting with the preparation of proposals/tenders for new work.
