We’re seeking experienced Senior Civil Engineers! Our growth strategy within our Water division is creating a buzz around the place! We are partnering with the top water clients across the UK and Ireland to help develop a better way of how we obtain, clean, and distribute water for our local communities. We want senior civil engineers ready to take the opportunity to lead the civil design on projects over AMP8. Working at Stantec you will be working on some of the largest, most iconic water projects across the UK and Ireland. We’re one team, we help each other out – whether you’re based in Scotland, the South of England, or Ireland – we work together.
About you
- You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
- Ideally, you will be a member of a relevant engineering institution and actively working towards your chartership, if not already chartered.
- Previous experience working within the water industry is preferred.
- Be one of the key players in projects that are making a real difference to local communities across the UK.
- Drawing from your civil engineering experience in the water industry, you will, as part of a team, work on projects from needs identification and feasibility, through to outline and detailed design.
- You will have the ability to support and mentor graduates and junior engineers as they begin their careers.
- Enhance your technical knowledge as you work collaboratively with other disciplines to develop innovative solutions for our clients.
- You will also have a track record of undertaking designs and complete design deliverables within required timescales and design budgets.
