You’re a Structural Engineer working in the buildings sector and you want to be part of a team that combines technical strength with real project influence. ABOUT THE ROLE

You will take a leading role in delivering structural engineering projects, working across a range of building schemes from concept through to construction. You’ll be responsible for technical delivery, coordination with other disciplines, and ensuring outputs meet both client expectations and internal quality standards. Alongside design, you’ll contribute to project management—supporting programme, resources, and commercial performance—while also providing guidance to more junior engineers. As you develop in the role, you’ll take on increased responsibility in client engagement and business development, contributing to proposals, strengthening relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the team.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent)
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with IStructE or ICE, or working toward chartership
  • Strong experience in the design and delivery of building structures
  • Confident in managing responsibilities across technical delivery and project coordination
  • Able to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience supporting or mentoring engineers, with an interest in team development
  • Interested in developing client relationships and contributing to business growth
