The Opportunity

Join our 2027 (Autumn) Graduate Programme as a Graduate Transport Planner in our Ashford office, where you'll be part of a market-leading Community Development discipline.

As a Stantec Graduate Transport Planner, you'll develop your transport planning expertise within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Working alongside experienced professionals and fellow graduates, you'll contribute to a wide range of projects while gaining exposure to planning, civil engineering and project management disciplines. Joining our growing Transport team, you'll support the delivery of projects for a diverse portfolio of clients across the South East of England and throughout the UK. The Role

On a day-to-day basis, you'll support the delivery of transport planning projects from inception through to completion. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will:

• Assist with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Support the development of transport strategies for a range of development projects.
• Analyse transport and traffic data to inform planning and design decisions.
• Contribute to technical reports, presentations and client deliverables.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, local authorities and other stakeholders.
• Support project delivery across a variety of schemes, from community developments to major new settlements and enterprise zones.

About you

At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Geography / Transport / Engineering / Maths / Economics or Physics and a keen interest in the Infrastructure sector, you will be:
