We are looking for an Associate Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic and growing Building Services (MEP) team in Manchester. Our MEP team in Manchester is at the forefront of sustainable and high-performance building design, and we have a strong track record of exciting projects across the Northwest of England.
About you: We are seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to lead multidisciplinary (MEP) engineering projects from start to finish, positively engaging with the client and supporting them in achieving their goals. Our team leads will support you to lead all aspects of the project, including project team, deliverables, resourcing, programme and budget, to deliver high-quality outputs for our clients. We are excited to see you develop and oversee electrical concepts and design solutions, then lead a project team to deliver detailed design to required standards, producing required design calculations. We want you to champion an inclusive, supportive culture that works closely and collaboratively, both internally and with external design teams. Communication and ownership are key to our team’s success and happiness. We are eager for someone who wants to contribute to our work-winning activity alongside our MEP lead and Regional Director.
You should have:
- A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelor's, or Master's).
- A proven background in leading Building Services design with an electrical focus.
- A track record working across sectors in the UK, for example; healthcare, education, commercial, residential and/or industrial.
- Experience in people leadership, including performance and development.
- A keenness for business development, with the ambition to win new work and manage commercial responsibilities.
- Understanding of BIM processes, including Revit and proficiency in Electrical OM/Amtech/Dialux.
