As our client base continues to expand across Greater London and the UK, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in growing our presence while leading the delivery of high-profile transport planning projects.

You'll take a leading role in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, providing technical expertise, managing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of our Transport Planning team.
Based in our vibrant Fitzrovia office, Tottenham Street, you'll work alongside a highly experienced team delivering a wide variety of projects across the region and nationwide. Our London team supports clients across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, infrastructure, energy and the public sector.
Our portfolio includes:
- Residential-led mixed-use developments
- Commercial and industrial schemes
- Public sector transport studies
- Major infrastructure and energy projects, including solar, BESS, substations, overhead line upgrades, energy from waste, carbon capture, pumped hydro, water recycling and transfer projects

Your Impact:
As a Principal Transport Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of our London Transport Planning team. You'll lead the delivery of complex projects, influence key decisions, strengthen client relationships and help shape sustainable transport solutions for communities across the UK.
Beyond project delivery, you'll contribute to the development of our people, our clients and our business by sharing your expertise, supporting colleagues and helping to create a collaborative and forward-thinking team environment.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the successful delivery of transport planning projects across the development, infrastructure and energy sectors.
- Build trusted relationships with developers, local authorities and key stakeholders, becoming a valued advisor to clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable transport solutions.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities, contributing to bids and helping grow our presence across London and the wider UK.
- Mentor and develop junior colleagues, helping to build capability and knowledge within the team.
- Drive quality and technical excellence, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest professional standards.
About You:
You'll be an experienced Transport Planner with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to lead and deliver transport planning projects within a consultancy environment. You'll be confident managing client relationships, providing technical leadership and working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
You'll have experience delivering development planning projects, ideally within London, with a good understanding of the UK planning system and transport assessment process. Experience working on major infrastructure, energy or Development Consent Order (DCO) projects would be advantageous.
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong experience in transport planning consultancy, with the ability to manage projects and technical deliverables.
- Experience working with developers, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
