As part of our long-term growth strategy, and to continue delivering expert services to our clients, we are looking to appoint a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller into Leeds, Manchester or Warrington. You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 175 personnel from Stantec, across 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, along with our clients and consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver projects throughout the UK and Ireland. As a Senior Wastewater Modeller, you will:
- Provide technical leadership for wastewater modelling projects.
- Develop and deliver innovative technical solutions across Stormwater Overflows, Water Quality Management, Developer Assessments, Flood Investigations and more.
- Work with our specialist teams to develop new tools and procedures within Wastewater Modelling, which further enable us to deliver expert solutions to our clients.
- Plan and coordinate project delivery, including the preparation of cost estimates.
- Line manage more junior team members, including mentorship and supervision of technical outputs.
We are interested in speaking with experienced Wastewater Modellers, educated to degree level (or equivalent) and who hold membership to a relevant industry institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM. You will ideally have previous experience of leading projects in an urban drainage environment and possess strong technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities. Proficiency in the use of Infoworks ICM and a strong analytical skill set are also important for this position.
