You’re a Principal Fire Risk Consultant who wants to lead at a broader level—across clients, projects, and team direction. At Stantec, this is an opportunity to take a central role within a growing specialist team, combining technical leadership with client ownership and a clear voice in how the fire risk offering develops. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of commissions while operating within a multidisciplinary environment, giving you the platform to deliver more integrated, practical outcomes for clients and communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will lead the delivery of complex and high-value fire risk consultancy work, acting as a senior technical authority and trusted adviser to clients. This includes overseeing fire risk assessments and related outputs, ensuring consistent quality across key commissions, and guiding clients through regulatory requirements and fire safety improvement programmes. You’ll take ownership of client relationships, supporting fee proposals, contributing to winning new work, and identifying opportunities where wider capabilities across the business can add value. YOUR IMPACT
You’ll help clients navigate increasingly demanding expectations around fire safety, compliance, and accountability. Your work will provide advice that is technically robust, practical to implement, and aligned with the realities of occupied buildings and operational environments. Your influence will extend beyond individual projects. You’ll shape how key clients approach risk, contribute to the development of team capability, and support the continued growth of the fire risk service offering. The outcome is not only safer buildings, but stronger client relationships and a team that grows with clarity and confidence.
