Stantec’s water teams are expanding to support a major growth strategy for 2025 and beyond. We are hiring Urban Drainage Modellers to support a range of frameworks, including United Utilities Design Development Partnership, Development of hydraulic models for Specialist Network Modelling, and solutions to reduce stormwater overflows as part of Yorkshire Waters’ Storm Overflow Alliance. The role will contribute to high‑quality, sustainable solutions across our Northern teams in Leeds, Manchester, and Warrington.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, verify and maintain hydraulic models with InfoWorks ICM.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of 175 personnel and client/contractor partners across the UK and internationally.
- Produce clear reports, presentations and documentation for internal and external audiences.
- Support projects from conception through delivery, ensuring water quality, urban pollution control and environmental commitments are met.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
- Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM.
- Experience working in an urban drainage environment.
- Membership to a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM).
