This is a senior, multidisciplinary role leading EICA design services for water infrastructure projects. You will guide projects through their entire lifecycle—from initial optioneering and feasibility studies to detailed design and site investigations—working with Project Managers and stakeholders to deliver sustainable, innovative, and community-focused solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior engineers and support growth and technical excellence within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through their full lifecycle: optioneering, feasibility, detailed design, and site investigations.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure technical delivery aligns with sustainability, innovation, and community goals.
  • Act as a technical lead for EICA design in water sector projects, including development of Single Line Diagrams and control philosophies and ensuring compliance with DSEAR requirements.
  • Chair and participate in technical workshops, HAZOPs, and client presentations; communicate clearly and persuasively with clients and team members.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and technical excellence.

About You / Qualifications

  • Chartered or Incorporated Electrical Engineer with a deep background in EICA design.
  • Extensive experience producing technical designs within the water industry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
