As we look to continue this growth across the business, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in the South of England, based from Brighton, Ashford, Kings Hill or Southampton. With hybrid working allowing for a combination of in‑office and home working, this role would suit an Electrical Engineer who wants to take their next step in their career within an industry leading consultancy by working on exciting projects in the water sector. There are opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects including in water, wastewater, energy, infrastructure and environmental sectors. All of our Electrical Engineers will have support to gain chartership (if needed) and/or any other career developments you wish to partake in.
Responsibilities
- Involved in the whole project life cycle from Front‑End Engineering Design through to detailed design, installation and construction support.
- Consultancy work including areas where specialist input is required for internal projects for Clients and partners.
- Write technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports and collaborate on design solutions.
- Produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams.
- Provide engineering input to collaborative design outputs such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related subject, ideally on the way to Chartership or Incorporated with experience of EICA design.
- Experience in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, and reports.
- Familiar with collaborative reviews and designs of solutions.
- Experience in the Water sector is an advantage; we also welcome candidates with experience in the energy, infrastructure or environmental sectors.
