Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing and managing PMO processes and systems
- Supporting planning and scheduling, analysing financial, commercial, risk and performance data, and providing programme level assurance
- Preparing financial and performance reports for senior management and boards
- Managing stakeholder relationships across the PMO and wider organisation
- Supporting benefits management throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinating governance and assurance activities
- Working with the leadership team on internal initiatives, including resource planning, financial management, proposal development and business development
- Work closely with colleagues across advisory frameworks to strengthen client capability for large scale capital programmes
- Provide trusted partnership to clients, helping them understand performance, navigate risks, manage benefits and embed processes for improved delivery
Locations: ideally based in London, Birmingham, Glasgow or Edinburgh with travel expected
Qualifications
- Experience working in a consultancy supporting major capital programmes or managing consulting projects
- Relevant professional accreditation such as APM, MSP Practitioner or PRINCE2 (or progressing towards one)
- Curiosity, creativity and a drive to find innovative ways to improve processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to interpret and articulate data analysis clearly
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Sharp attention to detail and strong presentation skills
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Desire to learn, grow and contribute to a collaborative consulting team
