Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing and managing PMO processes and systems
  • Supporting planning and scheduling, analysing financial, commercial, risk and performance data, and providing programme level assurance
  • Preparing financial and performance reports for senior management and boards
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across the PMO and wider organisation
  • Supporting benefits management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinating governance and assurance activities
  • Working with the leadership team on internal initiatives, including resource planning, financial management, proposal development and business development
  • Work closely with colleagues across advisory frameworks to strengthen client capability for large scale capital programmes
  • Provide trusted partnership to clients, helping them understand performance, navigate risks, manage benefits and embed processes for improved delivery

Locations: ideally based in London, Birmingham, Glasgow or Edinburgh with travel expected

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a consultancy supporting major capital programmes or managing consulting projects
  • Relevant professional accreditation such as APM, MSP Practitioner or PRINCE2 (or progressing towards one)
  • Curiosity, creativity and a drive to find innovative ways to improve processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and articulate data analysis clearly
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong presentation skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Desire to learn, grow and contribute to a collaborative consulting team
