We are looking for a Transport Planner to join our Transport Planning team in Cambridge on a permanent basis. The role is suitable for a transport planner with a broad understanding of the profession and experience in transport planning for development and public sector schemes.
Responsibilities
- Support technical output of transportation projects, including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, various transport studies, and associated technical analysis.
- Produce transport assessments, travel plans, and conduct junction modelling and analysis.
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, local authorities and the general public.
- Assist in mentoring and developing junior team members.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified ideally in transportation, geography, engineering or a related field.
- Experience with transport assessments, travel planning, junction modelling or analysis, and relevant software packages.
- Strong numerical skills and experience managing budget and quality at project level.
- Currently working towards a professional qualification, e.g., Chartered Transport Planning Professional.
