Stantec’s Environmental Team works closely with water clients to deliver sustainable, efficient solutions. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Environmental Advisor/Scientist across UK office locations, with an option for part‑time work.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of client and project environmental objectives and targets.
  • Assist the EIA and environmental management teams by conducting environmental planning reports, EIA screening and scoping, environmental management studies and audits.
  • Advise clients on environmental and sustainability issues.
  • Analyse and present data using a geographic information system (GIS).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Science or Environmental Planning accredited by CIWEM, IEMA or RTPI.
  • Chartered or applying for Chartered status within the next 6 months.
  • Experience as a client‑focused Environmental Advisor, providing robust advice on routes to consent, critical environmental risks and opportunities, EIA, environmental management studies and audits.
  • Knowledge of ecology, flood risk, town planning and water resources is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and GIS skills.
