Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Process Engineer in our Bristol office, where you will contribute to high-profile water projects and develop practical engineering solutions that support communities and the environment. You will join a dynamic and collaborative Process Engineering team, developing your technical skills alongside experienced engineers and gaining valuable exposure to the water industry. Your work will span a range of developments, from wastewater treatment and water recycling through to clean water solutions, with opportunities to explore nature-based solutions as part of Stantec's approach to sustainable delivery. You will help analyse and interpret data to inform project decisions, contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders. The team works across the full project lifecycle, from optioneering through to detailed design and implementation, with the potential for site visits and investigations to broaden your understanding of how process engineering solutions are delivered in practice. About The Role
By joining our Process Engineering team, you will support the delivery of technical solutions for water and wastewater projects, helping to shape sustainable, efficient and resilient outcomes for clients and communities. Your core responsibilities include:
- Supporting process engineering input across water and wastewater treatment, water recycling and clean water projects.
- Analysing and interpreting technical data to inform design decisions and project recommendations.
- Contributing to option development, design calculations, technical reports and engineering deliverables across the project lifecycle.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and modelling specialists.
- Supporting client and stakeholder engagement through clear communication, collaborative working and well-considered technical input.
- Developing your understanding of sustainable process solutions, including opportunities for innovation and nature-based approaches where appropriate.
We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation. This role will support your professional development towards Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers, depending on your chosen pathway.
