Overview
We are building a Landscape Planning Talent Network and seek senior to director level Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners to work on the UK’s most exciting development and infrastructure projects.
The role involves shaping sustainable places through landscape‑led thinking, strategic planning and environmental assessment.
Responsibilities
- Work across all stages of the planning process, helping clients unlock development opportunities while enhancing landscape character, biodiversity and community value.
- Prepare Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA), Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIA) and preliminary landscape and visual appraisals.
- Contribute to strategic green infrastructure planning, landscape capacity, sensitivity and character assessments, green belt and strategic gap assessments.
- Provide landscape‑led masterplanning and strategic design input, and contribute to design codes, design and access statements and vision documents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments, Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments, and strategic green infrastructure planning.
- Experience in landscape capacity, sensitivity and character assessments, green belt, and strategic gap assessments.
- Experience in landscape‑led masterplanning and strategic design input.
- Experience contributing to design codes, design and access statements, and vision documents.
- Chartered through the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or progressing through the Pathway to Chartership (P2C) is desirable; support and mentoring is provided for those working towards chartership.
