We're seeking ambitious process engineers passionate about clean water resilience or wastewater recovery and environmental protection. The role is based from our office in Redditch and involves working on high-impact projects spanning the entire water cycle across the UK & Ireland. We look for engineers ready to transition from foundational roles to project leadership and technical specialisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Cleanwater Journey: secure long‑term water supply through strategic resource options, design state‑of‑the‑art treatment facilities, and pioneer source‑to‑tap solutions for emerging contaminants like PFAS.
  • Lead the Wastewater Journey: design advanced treatment for nutrient removal, optimise asset performance, and implement schemes that champion resource recovery (energy, heat, materials).
  • Operate across the full project lifecycle as a key technical contributor – develop process designs, hydraulic analysis, mass‑balance models, and prepare technical reports and specifications.
  • Conduct site investigations, lead asset optimisation studies, and carry out on‑site test work such as jar testing and pilot plant trials.
  • Collaborate directly with UK water utility clients, help shape business plans and translate strategic needs into viable engineering solutions.
  • Engage with our global community to share knowledge and apply international best practices to local challenges.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable process engineering experience gained through a formal graduate programme or equivalent relevant experience in the water sector, with exposure to either clean water or wastewater specialisms.
  • A collaborative spirit and passion for working as part of an integrated, supportive team.
  • A drive to apply innovation and industry best practice to deliver high‑value, sustainable outcomes.
  • A strong foundation in process engineering and a desire to accelerate career progression towards Chartered Engineer status or project leadership.
