Responsibilities include collaborating as a member of a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy across a range of projects. Designing buildings for various developments, including drainage, highways, and earthworks. Undertaking scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs, and project coordination. Mentoring and supporting emergent team members, ensuring the quality and accuracy of technical and non-technical deliverables. Contributing to work winning, managing project finances, and preparing fee proposals. Communicating effectively and liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory/statutory authorities to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications: A BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, HND, or HNC civil engineering qualification, coupled with experience gained in a design office environment. Design experience in delivering projects across the entire lifecycle – from concept and planning through to detailed design. A working knowledge of Section 104, 278, and 38 adoption procedures, as well as UK planning procedures. Strong analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, along with experience using Civil 3D, PDS, Site3D, AutoTrack, MicroDrainage, FLOW, or InfoDrainage for design. Experience working with residential developers. A strong written and verbal communicator. A self-motivated team player with excellent people skills.
