We are currently seeking a visionary Structural Lead to steer our growing structures team. This is more than a management role; it is a chance to shape the technical direction of the firm, mentor the next generation of engineers, and deliver landmark projects across the country. As the Structural Lead, you will be the driving force behind our commercial and technical success. You won’t just manage projects; you will build a legacy.
Your focus will be on:
- Strategic Leadership: Taking full ownership of the division’s operational performance and reporting directly to executive leadership.
- Team Empowerment: Cultivating a high-performing team of engineers and technicians through mentorship, recruitment, and professional development.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Acting as the bridge between structural engineering and other disciplines to ensure seamless, world-class delivery on complex infrastructure projects.
- Business Growth: Strengthening client relationships and leading high-stakes tenders to secure our future pipeline.
ABOUT YOU
You will be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with a Level 8 or higher degree and deep technical experience in structural engineering. Beyond your technical mastery, you possess the commercial acumen and leadership presence necessary to manage and coach a high-performing, growing team. You are a natural communicator who thrives under pressure, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects to the highest standards of client satisfaction. As a seasoned professional, you bring a sophisticated blend of interpersonal skills and technical authority, ensuring that every deadline is met with precision and excellence. You will ideally have experience with another Consultancy and experience in the Water sector would be advantageous.
