ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller, you'll lead the technical delivery of hydraulic modelling projects while supporting junior colleagues and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering urban drainage modelling projects from concept through to completion.
- Developing, calibrating, and analysing hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM and GIS software.
- Supporting flood risk, storm overflow, water quality, and catchment modelling studies.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to developing modellers.
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Contributing to the development of digital tools and modelling best practice.

Your work will directly support the delivery of resilient wastewater networks that protect communities and the environment. ABOUT YOU
You will have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering urban drainage or wastewater modelling projects.
- Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and associated GIS software.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to mentoring colleagues.
DESIRABLE
- Membership of ICE, CIWEM, or another relevant professional institution.
- Experience delivering flood risk, water quality, storm overflow, or SuDS projects.
