The Opportunity
Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Sustainability Consultant in our Plymouth office, where you'll be part of a market-leading Buildings discipline. You’ll join our South West Benchmarking team, a close-knit group of two specialists based within our wider Plymouth office. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of around 15 MEP and BIM professionals, you’ll benefit from collaborative support, broad project exposure, and opportunities to develop your technical expertise within an integrated engineering environment. You’ll support a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including Defence (MOD), Justice (MOJ), Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Data Centres. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you’ll contribute to workload planning, performance benchmarking, team development initiatives, and the delivery of data-driven insights that help improve project outcomes and operational efficiency.
About The Role
Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Support the delivery of sustainability certification assessments and documentation, including BREEAM, DREAM and LEED.
- Assist with quality assurance reviews and submissions to ensure projects meet required standards and accreditation criteria.
- Work closely with the Benchmarking team to analyse and manage project data, helping to drive sustainable design outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across MEP, BIM and wider multidisciplinary teams, providing benchmarking and sustainability support on a variety of projects.
- Contribute to reporting, data management and project coordination activities while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.

About You
At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (Sustainability, Environmental, Geography degree types are preferred), Sustainability experience and MS Suite would be desirable. A keen interest in working in the Buildings sector is essential.
