We have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing MEP (Building Services) team based in our Glasgow or Edinburgh office.

The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a highly motivated and collaborative team of engineers who are passionate about delivering sustainable, innovative solutions and who genuinely enjoy what they do. You will lead the day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services on multi-disciplinary building projects. You will oversee the production of high‑quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules. You will support the commercial success of your projects through timely invoicing, WIP management, and workload/resource planning. You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.
About You
You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for your clients and will have the following:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering both electrical and M&E solutions across varied building sectors.
- Familiarity with BIM processes and tools including Revit.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in Electrical Engineering or building services. Chartered status or working towards it.
