The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

We have opportunities across a number of UK offices including Leeds, Birmingham, Reading and Shrewsbury, with other locations considered for the right person. You bring several years of experience in the water industry, whether from a consultancy, water company, regulatory body or academic background. You have a solid grasp of UK water resource management and drought planning regulations, and practical experience contributing to WRMPs, drought plans or regional strategies. You are comfortable with hydrological analysis using tools such as Excel, HYSIM or GR6J, proficient in GIS and ideally have direct experience with water resources modelling tools such as Pywr, Miser or Aquator. Strong numerical skills and a willingness to keep learning are just as important to us as ticking every box on the list. You thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of water resource projects across WRMPs, Drought Plans, WINEP investigations and water resource modelling using tools such as Pywr, Aquator and Miser.
  • Apply strong numerical skills to hydrological analysis, contribute to technical reporting and collaborate flexibly across our wider Water and Environment department, working alongside groundwater, water quality and flood risk teams.
  • Develop your expertise in demand management and environmental assessments including HRA, SEA and WFD, with the full support of a team that is invested in your growth.
