This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Civil Engineer to join a thriving group with a proven track record of delivering innovative projects across the South‑East and beyond.

As well as leading our own projects, you'll collaborate closely with our building, environmental, and transport colleagues to deliver holistic solutions.
As an Assistant Civil Engineer, you'll join a close‑knit team where you'll have the opportunity to lead and mentor our junior engineers and technicians. You'll take responsibility for leading the technical delivery and approval of projects, as well as reviewing the work produced by our team. You'll play a key part in delivering high‑quality design projects on time and within budget, working closely with our clients to influence the development of infrastructure schemes in the region. About You
You’ll be an MEng/BEng qualified and working towards being a Chartered Engineer. You're a tactical thinker focused on achieving coordinated solutions and effective at communicating with both internal and external parties (e.g., utility companies, drainage authorities, highway authorities). Ideally, you'll have expertise in highway and drainage infrastructure design to deliver multi‑disciplinary projects across their entire lifecycle – from concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery.
You'll have a proven record of delivering projects closely with clients across various technical disciplines and experience mentoring and managing the workload of junior team members. Skills with Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, and utility coordination are advantageous. Crucially, you'll bring a passion and experience for delivering quality infrastructure design solutions and managing processes with regulators and local authorities.
