The Opportunity

Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our High Wycombe office, where you will be part of our Water team and support the delivery of electrical engineering solutions across water and wastewater projects. The successful candidate will sit within our High Wycombe office and be supported by a regional South team of around 20 MEICA engineers across Brighton, Southampton, London and High Wycombe. You’ll have the chance to make a positive impact on the environment through sustainable engineering solutions, working on a design and build framework for Southern Water. This is a challenging technical environment where constructability and affordability are key considerations throughout design delivery.

About The Role

Alongside the MEICA team, you will support practical engineering delivery, site-based information gathering and technical documentation while developing your understanding of electrical design in the water sector. Your core responsibilities include:

• Undertaking site visits for condition assessment and information gathering.
• Supporting senior engineers with schedules and authoring technical documents.
• Building up site power burden and calculating new site requirements.
• Supporting specification of system architecture layouts, including fibre network design.
• Participating in constructability workshops and contributing to practical design solutions.
• Developing your technical capability through project work, collaboration, training and structured graduate development.

About you:
