Your role:
We are looking for a Graduate Town Planner to be based in Cambridge, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme.
As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and fellow graduates, developing your town planning expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment. You will contribute to a broad range of projects, from initial research and site appraisals to application preparation, community engagement, plan promotion, and planning appeals in the residential, commercial and environmental sectors. You will also assist with project coordination and management, ensuring projects run smoothly.
The Town Planning team have a wide range of projects within the residential, industrial, Life Science/Tech and Energy sectors across Cambridge and the South-East/East of England. Projects include new town settlements, garden villages and exciting regeneration projects, as well as mixed-use, large industrial/commercial schemes, Science & Technology campuses, hospitals, retirement housing schemes andEnergy Facilities, such as Solar Farms. Developments range in size, use and complexity and include the preparation and submission of all types of planning applications, as well as Local Plan promotions.
