THE OPPORTUNITY This is an Expression of Interest to join Stantec's Water business as a Design Manager. This is open across the UK.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Design Manager, you won't just be drawing up plans; you'll be leading them. This is your chance to:
- Lead a talented team to deliver impactful water projects, from initial concept to detailed design. You'll foster a collaborative and innovative environment where new ideas are welcomed.
- Work on award‑winning initiatives; you'll be involved in a variety of projects across clean water, wastewater, flood risk, and urban drainage.
- Influence the future of the industry by partnering with major clients across the UK.
YOUR IMPACT As a Design Manager, you will be the technical lead, working alongside the Project Manager to ensure we deliver best value and service excellence. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of major projects, bringing together skillsets from multiple disciplines. You will oversee all aspects of delivery, holding roles that may include delivery of design support can be given to achieve this if required. Demonstrable experience leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing multiple projects and stakeholders. Previous experience of major projects is highly desirable. We have opportunities for differing levels of seniority, so if you are looking to develop your leadership career, we'll support you on your journey.
