We have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical to Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing MEP team based in our Glasgow office. It’s a fantastic time to become part of Stantec’s MEP division! Our engineers are experts in creating high-performing, sustainable environments. We work across all major sectors—from commercial and residential to heritage and industrial—delivering intelligent design that enhances the built environment and supports our clients’ net-zero ambitions.

- Building performance modelling and optimisation

You’ll be joining a highly motivated and collaborative team of engineers who are passionate about delivering sustainable, innovative solutions and who genuinely enjoy what they do. You will lead the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services on multi-disciplinary building projects. You will oversee the production of high-quality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules. You will support the commercial success of your projects through timely invoicing, WIP management, and workload/resource planning. You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.

ABOUT YOU
You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for your clients and will have the following:
- A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in electrical engineering or building services.
- Chartered status or working towards it.
- Proven experience as an Electrical or Senior Electrical Engineer in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering both electrical and M&E solutions across varied building sectors.
- Familiarity with BIM processes and tools including Revit and Amtech.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams.
