Our Rivers & Coastal team works on some of the UK’s most significant and impactful projects, helping to protect people, property and critical infrastructure while delivering environmental enhancements and long‑term sustainability benefits. You’ll collaborate with specialists from across our multidisciplinary business to deliver innovative solutions from concept through to construction and beyond. Join us and contribute to a diverse portfolio of river, coastal and flood risk management projects, including:

• Nature-based Solutions (NBS).
• Flood risk management and resilience schemes.
• River restoration and river engineering projects.
• Coastal management and shoreline improvement initiatives.
• Lowland drainage and water‑management schemes.
• Strategic infrastructure and development projects.

About You: We’re looking for passionate engineers and consultants who are motivated by solving complex challenges and making a positive impact. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geography or a related discipline.
• Experience within flood risk management, river engineering, coastal engineering or a related field.
• An understanding of project delivery across design, assessment or construction stages.
• Chartered status or a desire to work towards professional accreditation.
• A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.
