We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a Senior CAD Technician to join our team, specialising in major projects across the water sector. This role can be based at our Leeds office, with hybrid working arrangements that allow for a mix of in-office and home-based work.
Responsibilities
- Preparing project drawings and BIM models, understanding and implementing local client CAD standards and BIM data requirements
- Collaborating with engineers, consultants, and technicians from multiple disciplines
- Managing personal workload plans and ensuring delivery deadlines are met
- Working within Common Data Environments
About you
You’ll have prior experience working as a CAD Technician, Senior CAD Technician, or in a similar digital delivery role—preferably in the water or energy sectors. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in developing design deliverables in collaboration with multi-discipline design teams
- Experience working in Common Data Environments using data management systems such as BIM360 and ProjectWise
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 and delivering information in accordance with these standards
- Expertise in 2D and 3D BIM delivery using industry-standard tools from Autodesk and Bentley
- The ability to organise and manage workloads across multiple projects
- Willingness to mentor junior colleagues in BIM and new software developments
