Job description: Job Title:Internal Communication & Engagement Officer – Stansted Summary: Internal Communication & Engagement Officer Based at London Stansted Airport 12-month fixed-term contract Competitive salary & hybrid working. Reporting to the Internal Communications & Engagement Partner, the Internal Communications & Engagement Officer will support the delivery of communications to colleagues. This will include the creation and delivery of engaging communications to ensure colleagues: feel excited about our strategy and transformation understand and connect with our values are kept up to date with positive news stories from MAG and their local airport have a great experience working for MAG Principle accountabilities will require you to: Support delivery of the Group / local airport internal communications strategy to drive quality, effective communication and in turn drive colleague engagement. Assist the Internal Communications & Engagement Partner to create and deliver communication plans for projects and campaigns taking place across the Group / airport, helping to generate awareness and participation among colleagues. Manage communication channels such as our intranet, weekly newsletter, digital screens, face-to-face briefings and events. Write and edit high-quality content for a variety of channels. Think creatively to bring communication campaigns to life. Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand priorities across the business and internal communications requirements. Profile description: Ideally, you will have worked in a large matrix style organisation, but this is not essential. Attributes we will be looking for include strong communication skills, strong stakeholder management, attention to detail and a flexible “can-do” attitude. This role has been created to assist our Communications and Engagement Partner, and to do this successfully you will need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help, but also being able to gauge when this is necessary. We operate a hybrid working policy -this is three days per week in the office, with flexible working hours within that.
