We are looking for a new member to join our inspection team at Stansted Aerospace Limited. A good level of communication skills and a team building attitude is paramount.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform effective Incoming Inspection of items received for repair, ensuring all defects are detailed in an accurate concise manner.
  • Liaise with bonded stores regarding the materials required to repair.
  • Ensure all composite aircraft components and assemblies are repaired effectively IAW relevant maintenance data.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed effectively.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Aviation Inspection role.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in aviation maintenance, with knowledge of the following:
  • Metal to metal bonding
  • Composite structure repairs and procedures
  • Repairs to flying surfaces
  • Honeycomb repairs
  • Sandwich repairs
  • Fibreglass moulds fabrication
  • Computer Literacy And Experience With Office Base Software
  • Good Knowledge base of Aircraft Maintenance manuals and documents, with a preference to Boeing and Airbus.
  • Desirable Attributes:

    • Knowledge of paint systems and application
