We are looking for a new member to join our inspection team at Stansted Aerospace Limited. A good level of communication skills and a team building attitude is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Perform effective Incoming Inspection of items received for repair, ensuring all defects are detailed in an accurate concise manner.
- Liaise with bonded stores regarding the materials required to repair.
- Ensure all composite aircraft components and assemblies are repaired effectively IAW relevant maintenance data.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed effectively.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Aviation Inspection role.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in aviation maintenance, with knowledge of the following:
- Metal to metal bonding
- Composite structure repairs and procedures
- Repairs to flying surfaces
- Honeycomb repairs
- Sandwich repairs
- Fibreglass moulds fabrication
Desirable Attributes:
- Knowledge of paint systems and application
