About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team and help make a real difference to the lives of our children. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and a genuine passion for supporting children with a range of complex needs. We are looking for an individual who understands that every child is unique and who is committed to helping all children achieve their full potential, whatever their starting point. You will have experience of or a strong understanding of working with children with complex needs and be confident in adapting your approach to meet individual requirements. Working closely with teachers, leaders, and external professionals, you will play a key role in providing personalised support, removing barriers to learning, and celebrating every achievement, no matter how small.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND or additional needs, including supporting individual plans.
  • Help deliver structured group activities, adapt resources, and track pupil progress under teacher guidance.
  • Support pupils’ emotional and behavioural development to promote inclusion and confidence.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support their learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and families to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality, uphold safeguarding procedures, and model the school’s values in all interactions.
