We are seeking an exceptional Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team at St Annes RC Voluntary Academy. As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will have the opportunity to inspire our students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting the Leadership in the department to ensure excellent teaching and outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity.
- Differentiating teaching approaches to meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs or Maths as an additional language.
- Contribute to the design and development of the Maths curriculum, ensuring it is challenging and relevant.
- Use formative and summative assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons.
- Promote the school's Catholic ethos and values through your teaching and interactions with students.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
- Ability to plan and deliver outstanding lessons that engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable Qualities
- Experience in a Catholic school or understanding of the Catholic ethos.
- Ability to teach additional subjects at Key Stage 3 level.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities or whole-school initiatives.
