We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef and also a Chef to join our friendly team in the main kitchen. These are exciting roles for someone who has a creative flair and is passionate about their work.
The role will involve:
- Assisting with training, supervision and development of more junior members of the team.
- Assisting with menu planning, creating new recipes.
- Menus and ideas with consideration to seasonal produce.
- Making and serving pastries and desserts for the snack, lunch, and daily changing afternoon tea and dinner menus, baking fresh breads and preparing items for the breakfast buffet (Pastry Chef).
- Making and serving starter and main courses from the lunch, and daily changing dinner menus (Main kitchen).
Skills/experience required:
- Applicants for both positions must have experience in similar establishments.
- Must have received formal training and/or possess relevant college qualifications.
Working pattern: 5 day week on rota basis including weekends and bank holidays. Straight shifts (pastry) and mix of some straight shifts and splits (Main Kitchen).
