We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our friendly team. This is an exciting role for someone who has a creative flair and is passionate about their work.
The role will involve:
- Assisting with training, supervision and development of more junior members of the team.
- Assisting with menu planning, creating new recipes/menus and ideas with consideration to seasonal produce.
- Making and serving pastries and desserts for the snack, lunch, and daily changing afternoon tea and dinner menus.
- Baking fresh breads and preparing items for the breakfast buffet.
Skills/experience required:
- Must have experience in pastry in similar establishments.
- Must have received formal training and/or possess relevant college qualifications.
Working pattern: 5 day week on rota basis including weekends and bank holidays. Straight shifts. Shifts 7:00am-3:30pm, 9:00am-5:30pm, 11:00am-7:30pm, 1:30pm-10:00pm.
