Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the Dispatch Department based at Stephenson Close. This job will involve loading and unloading Freight Forwarder and Supplier lorries, checking and booking in products, crating rails, and general warehouse duties such as collating goods ready for dispatch.
As the Warehouse Operative, you will work Monday to Thursday 11:15 to 19:30 and Friday 08:30 to 15:00. This job is a permanent contract. Aisle Master and Counterbalance Licence is essential for this role. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or distribution experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on work as part of a supportive team.
To be successful as the Warehouse Operative, it is essential that you have previous experience in a dispatch warehouse or distribution environment. Experience using barcode equipment would be desirable.
Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:- Loading and unloading lorries using a forklift
- Load goods onto vehicles with a forklift using barcode equipment and handheld tablet
- Checking in delivered rails
- Preparing consignments for dispatch
- Using barcode equipment to dispatch orders
- Check goods in and goods out
- Maintain a clear and tidy workplace
