Stairlift Engineer – Day Jobs in Gateshead at Stannah – Join Our Team! We are looking for an experienced Stairlift Engineer to cover a route across Gateshead As a Stairlift Engineer at Stannah, you will play a vital role in keeping our customers moving in their own homes which is a passion of ours. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Gateshead Service Branch where you will be responsible for servicing and repair of stairlifts, home lifts and Hoists lifting equipment. We believe in taking care of our people, ensuring each one feels valued and recognised for the part they play in making this business a success. There are plenty of opportunities to develop skill sets and progress into new challenges within the company. Our ideal candidate would be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 Lift Engineering (or equivalent) . All our Service Engineers are equipped with company van, mobile phone and tablet, therefore a valid UK driving licence are essential for this role. You will be required to participate in our on-call rota and in return, you will receive a competitive standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary. Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities: Servicing, minor repairs and call out visits on disabled aid products, Stairlifts, home lifts and hoists.Attend maintenance and call out visits on StairliftsEnsure a high standard of service and customer care is maintainedConduct effective risk assessmentsCompletion of log cards Stairlift Engineer Requirements: NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is desirable.Experience of working on various passenger and goods liftsExperience in the maintenance/call out on all types and manufactures equipment.Excellent communication – verbal and written.
