Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Replenishment Coordinator to join Stannah Stairlift, based at Watt Close.
This role will involve providing a vital support service across the manufacturing operation, working closely with Purchasing and Operations teams to minimise downtime.
You will ensure all materials and components are ordered, delivered, booked in, and available at point of use to keep production running efficiently.
The position requires a 37‑hour work week, 2pm‑12am Monday to Thursday, on a permanent contract.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and replenish parts, materials and Kanban to the correct locations within required timescales to support production and dispatch.
- Respond promptly to stock‑outs, shortages and material availability issues, reporting concerns and helping to minimise downtime.
- Maintain effective housekeeping, 5S standards and FIFO stock control across work areas including Kanban, steel shed, scrap removal and jig‑cleaning processes.
- Support Fabrication, Paint and Assembly areas on a rotational basis, including transporting finished parts, powder replenishment and ensuring materials are available for the cutting cell.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, customer service excellence and stock accuracy, including supporting the annual stock take process.
